Fire and Ice

The Prophecies Begin arc / Book 2

Don’t we absolutely love it when our best friend almost drowns in a river and gets saved by a cat from a rivaling clan only for them to start a secret love affair? Poor Fireheart has to deal with this, but along the way he gets a new apprentice, discovers a far off family member and so much more

Graystripe how dare you! Graystripe is such a likable character but sometimes I just wanna grab him by the scruff and shake him. Fireheart definitely blew some things out of proportion so in all honesty it’s both of their faults. Graystripe and Fireheart’s relationship just starts crumbling after Graystripe accidentally kills a RiverClan warrior….oops. In this book we’re also introduced to Princess who is Fireheart’s sister and her son CloudKit. Whom Princess sent to replace Fireheart’s apprentice when his old apprentice got run over and crippled by a car. Tigerstar we all know that was a trap.

Into the Wild

The Prophecies Begin arc / Book 1

Oh boy the nostalgia is real with this one folks. I’ve probably read this book about ten times, but it never gets old. We meet Rusty, a kitty pet who has to decide whether or not he wants to join a forest cult of cats, and the friends and enemies he makes along the way. The start of my favorite arc, I hold this book so dearly to my heart. Probably my favorite series book in the franchise. If anyone wants to start reading Warrior Cats, this is the book to start with.

Spoilers ahead!

Fireheart is probably the most endearing book protagonist. We see him make mistakes, let a Shadowclan medicine cat join the clan, break the code, and help his best friend escape his abusive mentor. But he always has a pure heart and great pals. Graystripe is one of the most classic characters, and Tigerclaw is one of the greatest antagonists of all time.
